Ok, so we have about 3 months left until we take off to London and we have been working tirelessly to prepare for living in England. This has basically entailed Kristin drinking heavy British ale's and lager's both before and after work. At first I thought she was just drinking coffee before her long drive to Riverside. I mean what am I supposed to think when I see her pounding 3, 4, sometimes 5 "cups of coffee" while she is getting ready for work. Then when she gets home she is tired and cranky until she gets about 5 or 6 Old Speckled Hen's down the hatch. Don't get me wrong, I like the Old Speckled Hen too, maybe 2 or 3 on a weekend, but 6! On a weeknight! Anyways, she says she doesn't have a problem, she says its an acquired taste and she just wants to make sure that she likes the stuff before we get to London. I'm sure everything will be fine. She'll stop drinking when we get to London. We just need to get to London and things will be different.

I know you're only one post in. But honestly, this is probably the best blog I've ever seen.
LOVE IT!!!!! You better keep it up!
Nick, you mentioned that the two of you are working tirelessly to prepare for your trans-Atlantic adventure. This may be true, at least for one of you. Now, Kristin is BUSTING HER ASS, trying again and again, to assimlate to the fast-paced pub culture of London. By my count, she is feverishly putting away almost a 12 pack of the Hen every day. Not quitting until she receives affirmation from a drunk Englishman named Benjamin wobbling at the corner of the bar at The Cock & Bull Tavern, you my friend SIT ON YOUR ASS and write this little blog of yours. BULLOCKS! I say get your ass to work and follow the work ethic of someone that knows a little bit about "preparation". Cheers Kristin!
Are you sure that Kristin is not a Perrone by blood? The drinking is impressive. Come to think of it maybe she is a Curran by blood? I would check into this before you guys decide to have a baby. Otherwise you might end up with a cyclopse. Just a thought...(this comment was in no way intended to offend cyclopses.)
Wow, you've already had to delete a comment... good ol' American sensorship!
This looks like it will be quite a blog and I'm looking forward to participating in the shenanigans. As they say over there on the isle, CHEERS!
